The Perpetual Planner

Readiness isn't feeling it is a decision. You are great at research and analytics, but knowing a lot can be too much. Your potential lies in your growth in going by feel rather than stats. Here are some new strategies to start implementing today.

1. Morning Habits - a movement routine will help put your body into action - choose something which can support your running - stretch tight muscle groups, do breath work or meditation or yoga. Focus is on mind body connection, not thinking.

2. Set up for success - Goal set instead of brainstorming/research. Create short, mid and long term goals with action steps. Focus on the steps leading to the goals, and limit your time spent on goal and action planning. Identify your strengths which will help you reach your goals, evidence that you will be successful reaching the goal.

3. Before a run - Identify how your run is contributing to your goal - give purpose to your actions. Give yourself positive affirmations and visualize accomplishing the run and feel the positive feelings associated.

4. After a run - Congratulate yourself and thank your body. Enjoy feeling accomplished and focus on your strengths during the run. Journal your reflections and notes, provide content and concrete evidence of your success

5. Before bed - Read run journals, project confidence into your intentions of action for tomorrow. What actions will you take? What new evidence do you have of your strengths? What new inspiration have you detected?

1. Notice feelings

2. Run without a watch or gps at least once per week

3. Reflect on physical after runs
